Nesting Birds on Wrightsville Beach

Here are some photos from the southern part of Wrightsville Beach. So far I have seen the Black Skimmers, Least Terns, and American Oystercatchers there. They are all very busy courting and getting ready to nest. The area will soon be posted and off limits so I am enjoying getting up close and personal while I can.

Here is a least tern offering a fish to a potential mate.
