Living in Paradise Continues

Spent the day with another NJ transplant, Cindy, who also loves photographing birds. We went to the southern part of Wrightsville Beach and Airlie Gardens. Here are some of the highlights:

a Great Blue Heron with lunch....
a mama Wood Duck and seven ducklings.....
a Black-Bellied Plover and a Black Skimmer
and now off to a meeting at the UNCW Center for Marine Science to learn all about "Birds of the Marsh & Groundnesting Shore Birds" to see how I can get involved in keeping some of the nesting birds safer.
