Wilmington made the news on Good Morning America and the Weather Channel by setting a record with yesterday's total of 12.1 inches of rain! I left my snow shovels in NJ but am thinking I should have packed a canoe. Today I got out to do some chores: bank, library, World Market, Bed/Bath/Beyond, Home Goods, ABC (state liquor store), and Harris Teeter (grocery store) so I am ready for MORE heavy rain (6-10 inches more) predicted for Wednesday into Thursday.
The pictures are of redecorating in my living room. My family informed me that I needed to move my artistic seasonal trees (painted when the boys were in 2nd grade!) to a more discreet location.
I adore the seasonal trees, and displaying them in a prominent place represents so much 'more' than the art itself. The other pieces off-set them in a nice way, allowing for enough discreet-ness right where they are! Your candle art is a smaller version than what my acupuncturist has on her wall, but it gives the same peace and serenity, gazing upon it. Love your photos in the top picture! Your place looks great!! Enjoy the rain, Kathy!!
