Merritt Island - Black Point Wildlife Drive

I took 500+ photos and videos, narrowed them down to 142 favorites and chose these to share with you.
Avocet
Avocet
A cloud of birds
Eastern Meadowlark
Greater Yellowlegs
Killdeer
Least tern that I watched diving for fish.
Long-billed Dowitcher
Roseate Spoonbill
Roseate Spoonbills
White Ibis, Juvenile White Ibis, Glossy Ibis
woodstork
Tricolored Heron
Reddish Egret (Watching them "dance" over the water is amazing.)
Little Blue Heron
American Coots were EVERYWHERE!
Great Egret and Snowy Egrets
Blue-winged teal
Hooded Mergansers
Northern Shovelers
Ring-necked ducks
200 + white pelicans caused a traffic jam on the road.
The white pelicans seem to take over the refuge... both on water and in the sky.
The sky was filled with white pelicans.
The Black Point Wildlife Drive is a 7 mile one way road.
It took me almost 3 hours the first time around and then an hour on my second trip.

When I woke up that morning there was a dense fog warning.
But I headed out anyway.
There were a lot of others enjoying the sights.
