I am still enjoying my yoga classes and time at Airlie Gardens, including weeding with the Dirty Dozen. One great adventure was my attempt at glass blowing last Saturday. I am quite proud of my accomplishment and will post a picture soon.
Early this week I was in Greensboro celebrating my friend Bonnie's 77th birthday.
Today was basket weaving class #4, again picture to follow.
There have been several chances to enjoy my convertible and sit on the beach. I found where the swans are nesting at Airlie and am looking forward to seeing the baby cygnets! Went to see a live performance of Best Little Whorehouse in Texas at Thalian Hall (my champagne and popcorn theater) and was wowed by the local talent.
Next week I head back to NJ to attend my friend Anne's son's wedding. That will give me chances to get back to the Wildlife Drive in Brigantine and spend time with friends (who I miss so very much!).
Big news! I am going to have a "grand"puppy. John and Jess will be the proud owners of a Wheaten Terrier in the next few weeks. I can't wait to start buying dog toys.
Also looking forward to sharing all of the joys of NC living with Anne and Barbe the first week of April. We also plan to spend some time in Charleston, SC. Then the end of April the "girls" (Trish, Joanna, Sue, Sharon and I) are renting a house on Wrightsville Beach for a week.
