Field of Poppies

I pass this field of poppies almost very day along Rte. 74 into Wilmington. They are part of the NC Wildflower Program.

Cattle Egret, Great Crested Flycatcher, Eastern Towhee with a snack, Summer Tanager, Indigo Bunting, Prothonotary Warbler (oh, my!)

Yesterday I saw my first summer tanager!
